About the Show
This is the 15th annual boat show for the Kelowna Yacht Club. In keeping with the Club’s mandate to promote boating enjoyment in the Okanagan, the Show provides both the public and boat and leisure product vendors with a venue to explore boating and other leisure activities.

The Boat & Leisure Show will be held May 1st and 2nd, 2010. Originally begun as a water-based show in the Kelowna Yacht Club moorage basin, it has now expanded to include the water-based exhibits and the parking lots surrounding the Yacht Club, which are located in downtown Kelowna on both Water and Doyle Street.

With the development of Jim Stuart Park on the waterfront, the Land portion of the show will take place on the paved lot beside City Hall as well as the parking lot beside the Kelowna Yacht Club. The Water portion takes place in the Yacht Club Basin. See this site map for the Show location and venues.

Parking
Parking is available at various locations around the Yacht Club and the Show venues. Due to safety concerns, street parking will not be available on any of the streets immediately adjacent to the Boat and Leisure Show areas. Note that street parking is metered during the day on Saturday, but free on Sunday. In addition, there is free parking available both days at the Library Plaza and Chapman Parkades, the Doyle Street and arena parking lots on Ellis Street and at the Queensway and Mill Street lots one block south of the Yacht Club. Venue Information:
The Kelowna Yacht Club is the centre of the Show activities. The Clubhouse is open to the public throughout the Show and features live music on our patio both afternoons by the Zamboni Brothers, Kelowna’s premier entertainment band. The Clubhouse also houses our special Show menu food and beverage services as well as housing washrooms and our office.

The boat docks are home to the floating boat show, with Dealers’ new and used boats, houseboats, dock systems and Broker/Private Sales of used boats. Our boat basin also features some interesting displays from the City of Kelowna Fire and Rescue Boat, Coast Guard and RCMP patrol vessels. Many exhibitors use their floating exhibits to give potential customers a chance to test their new boat and thus close the sale.

Adjoining the Clubhouse and across the street adjacent to City Hall are two parking lots filled with exhibitors and food vendors.
