Why Exhibit at the KYC Boat & Leisure Show?
After doubling our advertising in 2008, we are once again making a significant increase in the amount of advertising and promotion throughout the Okanagan Valley. Our expanded advertising program is not only exciting for the Boat Show and the Kelowna Yacht Club, but will also offer our exhibitors a significant opportunity as well. Exhibitors will be able to take advantage of special pricing to advertise their particular products and we will again be looking for interesting products to highlight in articles in this publication. All of our exhibitors will be listed on our website (see the Whos Exhibiting tab at the top of this page) and if you have a website, we will include that information on our list at no charge. Exhibitors will also be listed in our site guide distributed at the Show. Because of the increasing exhibitor interest in the Show, coupled with City of Kelowna plans to eventually transform one of our exhibit areas into parkland, we have negotiated additional paved space in the City Hall parking lot right across the street from the Kelowna Yacht Club. This new space is paved, nicely sheltered with trees and well-lit, although power is not available this year. This lot will allow for a huge amount of expansion in future years and exhibitors who choose to locate their display/booth in this area in 2009 will benefit over the years as the Show focus shifts to that lot. While this expansion is across the street from the other lots, we will be adding signage and live entertainment in that lot throughout the Show. Also, highly visible crosswalk and crossing control staff will ensure participants are safely ushered to the new lot. Look
