The Kelowna Yacht Club was very proud to host the second annual Boat for Hope day for disabled children and their families in support of Variety – the Children’s Charity.

As well as providing hundreds of children who have special challenges with a care-free day of fun and games on both the water and on land, we helped to raise desperately-needed funds for disabled kids and their families.

This year, with their incredibly generous donation to our silent auction, Ken Thom and Mel Kottler are helping us to raise badly-needed funds by donating their 1981 25½ foot SeaRay family cruiser. This boat is in fabulous condition and was recently surveyed. The following photos show the boat and the survey is available at the KYC office should you wish to review it. Sold for $7600.
